On September 19,2009,the CBERS-2B satellite had been operating in orbit for 2 years and achieved its design life.Currently,the satellite is still operational exceeding its design life.CBERS-2B was launched atop a LM-4B launch vehicle on September 19,2007.It is the third satellite jointly developed by China and Brazil following CBERS-1 and CBERS-2.It has provided a large quantity of remote sensing data and imaging products for users including Chinese Academy of Sciences,
