摘要
采用合金电沉积和复合镀技术,将NiMo合金和稀土储氢合金的微粒修饰到镍基表面作析氢反应的催化层.介绍了电极的表面形貌及电极性能的测试结果.结果表明,电极的催化活性和催化层抗氧化能力高于NiMo电极,说明吸附氢起到了保持电极催化活性的作用.所以,在催化层中引入稀土储氢组分,不仅提高了电极对析氢反应的催化活性,更重要的是显著增强了催化层的抗氧能力,延长了电极的使用寿命.
The preparation of surface coating containing NiMo and rare earth hydrogen storage alloy on Ni substrate by alloy electrodeposition and composite coating technique carried out for hydrogen evolution cathodes in alkaline media. The micrographic surface features of the coating and the results of many performance tests in laboratary cells are repored. The cathode exhibits lower hydroge evolution reaction overvoltage, more excellent electrode stability under short circuiting conditions than the NiMo electrode. The excellen stability of the cathode has been attributed to the adsorbed bydrogen in rare earth hydrogen storage alloy.
