张爱玲是中国现当代一位优秀的作家,在1943到1945年内的上海沦陷期,她的创作达到了一个惊艳的巅峰。1952年她出走香港、美国之后,创作了几部长篇小说,好多中短篇小说,但艺术水平都达不到她早年的高度。近期出版的她的遗作——长篇小说《小团圆》,就艺术质量而言很一般,但它给了我们一个阅读和深入理解张爱玲其人其作的路径,让我们看到了她内心深藏一生的隐痛。

Zhang Ai - ling is one of the most famous writers in modern China. From 1943 to 1945, she achieved the zenith of her writing. After visiting Hong Kong and America in 1952, she wrote several novels, but they were not as good as those novels she wrote before. Her posthumous work, Xiao Tuan Yuan, was published recently and this novel gives us a way to better understand Zhang Ai -ling and her works, as well as shows us her traumatic memory.
