Shao Xun-mei: Appearing on Historical Horizon

邵洵美是中国现代文学史上的一位著名诗人、出版家和翻译家。但正是这样一位卓有成就的才子,却始终游离于文学史之外,不免让人遗憾。邵洵美长期以来被文学史忽略的原因是多方面的:一方面因为他的诗作具有"颓加荡"的特点;另一方面他和鲁迅的敌对关系也是一个重要的原因。但是如果仔细分析邵洵美的诗歌,我们就会发现他的诗歌也并非全都流于描写声和色的诱惑,而且后期的一些诗作还具有很高的艺术价值。另外,他的唯美主义思想也是我们不应该忽略的。

In the history of Chinese modern literature, Shao Xun - mei is a well - known poet, publisher and translator. But it is regrettable that such a talented person who made great achievements has always been dissociated from the history of literature. The reasons why Shao Xun - mei has long been neglected are various. On the one hand, the characteristic of his poetry creation is ＂decadence and debauchery＂ ;On the other hand,the hostile relation between he and Lu Xun is another important reason. But if we analyze Shao Xun - mei＇ s poetry carefully ,we will find that not all his poetry tends to describe the temptation of sound and colour. Moreover some poems in his later periord also have high artistic value. Besides, we should not ingnore his aesthetism,either.
