Meng Haoran＇s works have the common nature with the poems in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, which has been paid attention to for a long time. However, there are few poems which reflect the entertainment of the upper class, the common peasants＂ peaceful life, and scenes of prosperity. It is the thriving economy and the advanced politics in the prosperous Tang Dynasty that form the social foundation of Meng＇s creation of such poems. The flourishing of traveling in the Tang Dynasty had a great significance in the creation of Meng＇s poems and the diversity of the atmosphere of the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
