The love story of Troilus and Cressida has its original source from Homer. The setting is the Trojan War. With thousands of years of development, the content and plot developed continuously and formed the many works and the their revised versions that are still popular today, of which Chaucer＇ s Troilus and Criseyde is on the top of the list.
