摘要 对SPIHT(Set Partitioningin Hierarchical Trees)进行了研究,提出了一种基于人眼视觉特性的改进SPIHT算法。它首先对图像进行整数小波分解,然后根据图像经小波分解后系数的特点以及人眼对图像的边缘信息更加敏感的特性,对SPIHT算法进行改进。由于改进后的算法更加注重边缘信息的编码,实验结果表明重构后的图像更加清晰,尤其在低比特率时候效果更加明显。 After researching on SPIHT, an improved SPIHT algorithm on the basis of Human Visual System (HVS) was presented. At first, image was decomposed by using integer wavelet, then according to the characteristic of the decomposed coefficients and the feature that human visual is more sensitive to edge information of images, an attempt was made to improve SPIHT algorithm. Because the enhanced algorithm pays more attention to edge information encoding, the experiments results showed that the reconstructed images were more clear, the effect was conspicuous especially in the case of low bit rate.
