Lu Xun＇s poetry and Qu Yuan＇s Fu,treasures of Chinese poetry, have special connections between each other. By carrying on Qu Yuan＇s patriotism and his fighting spirit against evil forces, Lu Xun took up his pen both as a sword attacking the feudal system and as a trumpet ushering in a new society. Under the influence of Qu Yuan, Lu Xun made a great innovation in his poetry and created great poems with a new vision of his own. Lu Xun＇s inheritance is neither a mechanical imitation of others nor a copy of his predecessors, but an innovation for a new ideal and a new society.
