There is a long wave with average span of 50 years during the development of capitalist economy. Every cycle can be split into two periods, prosperity and depression. There are several views towards the contributing factors of economic long waves. The influential standpoint argues that the main motivation is the transformation and renovation of fixed assets. Long wave, whose promotion is significant creation, goes following a complex circle and exists worldwide. Although the particular emphasis of long wave theory is different from Marxism cycle theory, both of them consider that economy is developing with a certain cycle. Nowadays, the financial crisis has swept the globe; we must make good use of the theory of economic long wave to contribute to the development of our country, giving scope to the advantage of socialism and relieving the depression.
