摘要 "观物取象"的方式和观念,影响了中国自彩陶装饰艺术以来的所有造型艺术。作为中国传统装饰图形设计的基本创作原则和理念,其价值表现为两个方面:一是依"观物"获得形式——由对自然物象的观察研磨获得概括的艺术形象;二是通过"观物"所取之象——艺术形象来传达其精神内涵凸现其象征性。对该论点的剖析和总结对于今天的设计艺术具有重要指导意义。 The idea of giving an abstract of an object through a symbolic pattern has influenced all the plastic arts since the decorative arts of ancient painted pottery came into being. The idea has acted as one of the basic principles and concepts of creativity in the designing of the traditional Chinese decorative patterning, whose value lies in the following two aspects. One is to obtain an artistic image by observing and extracting from concrete objects. The other is to convey the spirit of the original objects through the abstract pattern. The efforts to analyze and summarize the idea of "Guan Wu Qu Xiang" are of great significance to direct the contemporary work of design arts.
