现阶段,我国科学技术与物质文明飞速发展,而人文精神与公众的道德心性却日益颓废。人心转换,道德建设成为当今社会的重要课题。佛教关注人生,把人的道德修养作为成佛得解脱的阶梯,一直以来就是社会道德教化的重要工具。发挥佛教对社会人心转换、道德建设的独特作用,是佛教适应社会、利益社会的需要,也是佛教扩大自身影响、弘法的需要。发挥佛教道德教化作用前提是挖掘,其关键是以人间佛教入世度生来凝聚亿万信众,加强佛教信徒自身的道德建设,以其为基点感化、影响社会道德风气。

Nowadays, China increase in material. On the other has made rapid progress in science hand, there is an increasing decline and technology, and also obtains great in humanism and public morals. Thus, humanity and moralization become major concerns of modern society. Buddhism has always been an important tool of social moral education, and it concerns about life and takes moralization as the ladder of being holy. To exert Buddhism＇s influence on humanity and moralization is the need for Buddhism to adapt itself and being beneficent to the society, and is also the need for Buddhism to expand its influence and carry forward its doctrines. Based on Buddhism in modern sense of moral concepts, and by uniting millions of believers and strengthening Buddhists＇ moral education, we can influence and improve the public＇s morals.
