摘要
为了适应经济发展的需要,培养复合型人才,很多高校的英语专业在原有EGP课程的基础上都开设了ESP(English for Specific Purpose,专门用途英语)课程。如何把ESP课程的内容翻译成通顺的中文,让学生正确理解教材内容,掌握知识要点成为教师教授ESP课程的重要内容。本文以市场营销英语课程为例,通过分析ESP语言的特点,讨论了对其的翻译方法。
English majors of many universities arranged ESP courses besides EGP courses due to the high demand of comprehsive talents. Therefore, ESP should be translated into Chinese by teachers in order to make the students acquire the knowledge. This essay focuses on the translation methods of ESP courses in the case of marketing English course.
