摘要
１９９６年９月至１９９７年６月，作者对广西岜盆自然保护区白头叶猴的种群数量进行了调查．结果表明：岜盆保护区现有白头叶猴１３６只，分属１９个两性群、５个独雄群和１个双雄群平均群大小５４４只／群，群密度０２６群／ｋｍ２，种群密度１４４只／ｋｍ２白头叶猴的年龄组成为：成年猴８０只，占５８８２％，青年猴３６只，占２６４７％，幼猴２０只，占１４７１％与他人１９８７年的报道相比，１０年间该区白头叶猴的种群数量下降了５９８８％，种群密度下降了６６０４％，平均群大小下降了３９０１％。
From September 1996 to June 1997, the survey on the population of the white headed langur in Bapen Nature Reserve was being conducted. The data show that there are 136 individuals (19 bisexual groups, 5 solitary old males and a pair of young males) in Bapen and the mean group size is 5.44 Ind/gr, the group density 0.26gr./km 2, and the population density 1.44 Ind./km 2. The population contains 80 adults, 36 subadults and 20 infants with the percentage of 58.82% , 26.47%, and 14.71% respectively. Compared to the data from 1987,the population has decreased by 59.88% over the past ten years, while the population density decreased by 66.04% and means group size by 39.01% ,with 19 groups apparently disappearing from the Reserve. The main factors for these are probally the destruction and isolation of the habitat.
