How to define the love and marriage discourse in Lu Xun's novels? What tendency does it assume? How did it come into being? All these questions are vital for the reinterpretation of Lu Xun's novels of love and marriage.This paper surveys the tragedy mechanism in them,falling into two forms:marriage phobia and gender politics.It also explores the causes of the marriage mechanism from the perspectives of the mutual relationship between fiction and reality,and trauma and tragedy cognition structure.
