A decision support system for the construction of an opencasiting mine is developed by means of the advanced computer aided management decision technology,namely Decision Support System(DSS)in the paper.With the help of the system,the managenment and decision problems of all administrative levels can be successfully dealt in such fields as personnel.fianacial affairs,equipment,materials,project statistcs,project contracts,data file,project sheduling and daily affairs etc.,through the computer network.
