On the Planning and Design of Garden Show from the Horticultural Exposition

园林展起源于西方国家,旨在通过展览的方式,促进园林、园艺事业的发展。近年来,各式各样的园林展纷纷在各大城市举办,不仅带动了园林、园艺事业的长足发展,更为举办城市提供了新的发展契机。随着园林展在中国的红火发展,展园的规划设计和后续利用也成为摆在设计者面前一道无法回避的难题。立足于园林展近半个世纪的发展史,从选址、主题的选择和运作方式等方面,对园林展的规划与设计进行了深入思考,并提出了自己的建议。

Garden show, originated from Western countries, can promote the development of garden and horticulture through exhibition. In recent years, various garden shows were held in some big cities, which not only promoted the development of garden and horticulture, but also brought new opportunities for the host cities. As garden shows develop, the planning and design and follow-up use of garden show are also big and inevitable problems for planners and designer. Base on the half-century history of garden show, this paper is about how to choose the location, themes and ways of operation, and thinks deeply the planning and design of garden show and gives suggestions.
