“不过”的连词化

The Formation of Conjunction:"Buguo"

"不过"是一个相对后起的转折连词,北宋时期始有连词用法。通过对"不过"连词化过程的细致分析可以看出:限定副词"不过"所在句子结构的复杂化,所系联的限定对象和所限范围两者的隐而不现,以及前后句子(或分句)之间语义上由前后一贯到相反相对的变化,都对"不过"的连词化有着深刻的影响。

As a conjunction, ＂buguo＂first came into being during the Northern Song Dynasty, which was relatively late. In this paper, we analyse the generating process of the conjunction ＂buguo＂. And, on this basis, we argue that, the complexity of sentence structure, the qualified objects and the limitation of the limited adverb ＂buguo＂ appearing or not and the changes in semantic relation between sentences （or clauses） have an important impact on the appearance of conjunction ＂buguo＂.
