摘要
传统的并行计算性能评估方法(如加速比、效率)存在着不足,而可扩性评估在并行计算的性能评估方法中占据越来越重要的地位。对以往的一些可扩性模型和度量方法进行了分析和比较,并阐述了可扩性与一些性能因素的关系。最后讨论了现有可扩性评估方法的局限之处。
The triditional performance measurement method (e.g. speedup, effeciency ) is not enough to measure parallelcomputing, while scalability analysis becomes more important. The paper compares existed scalability models, and analyzessome scalability metrics, as well as the relation of the scalability with some performance factors, at last points out some limitsin the current scalability analysis.
