As digital technique developed, there are many applications on cultural relics and how to establish the digital color model with high-resolution photography, lie on us. This paper outlines some modeling methods and discussed it from application and techniques aspects. It points out it is hard to establish a 3D color model with high- resolution photography only rely on 3D scanning machine itself at present. So users could select suitable modeling methods according with their object.
