一种新的肝脏CTA图像肋骨和脊椎骨分割方法 被引量:1

A New Method Used in Spines and Ribs Segmentation from Liver CTA Images

摘要 肋骨和脊椎骨的分割是从肝脏CTA图像中准确分离肝脏的重要预处理步骤。常规闽值分割方法在移除肋骨和脊椎骨的同时也可能移除对比度高的肝脏脉管或其他组织。针对这一问题,提出一种结合形态学操作和解剖学的肋骨和脊椎骨镜面分割法。首先进行一系列数学形态学操作,构造两条特征边界线及其中央对称线,然后镜像对称线左边部分,最终利用解剖学知识实现肋骨和脊椎骨的分割。50组分割实验表明新方法可以适应不同分割复杂度,高效准确地将肋骨和脊椎骨分割出来。 The segmentation of ribs and spines is an important preprocesssing step in segmentation of liver from CTA images.In the literature, the common method to remove the spine and the ribs is thresholding. However, this method can also remove some vessels inside the liver or some other enhanced tissues. To solve this problem, the paper proposed a novel mirror method based on morphology and anatomy. Firstly, cohstructed two border characteristics lines and calculated the central symmetry line. Followed by the mirror transformation of left part of symmetry line. Finally, removed the ribs and spines based on anatomy. 50 segmentation experiments show that the novel method can adapt different segmentation complexity and remove the ribs and spines successfully.
