To deal with the mission of multi -military operations and many kinds of safety threatens ,the PLA should possess the powerful transportation support capability of long distance and multi - directions. As the key transportation way, freeway becomes more and more important in the military transportation. From the aspect of theory, combining with the actual ca- ses, the paper analyzes the advantages and difficulties by using freeway to support the large - scale and long - distance mili- tary transportation, and brings forward correlative suggestions on it.
