摘要
英语习语是人们经过长时间的使用提炼出来并含有特殊意义的固定词语组合,精炼、短小、幽默、风趣、富有哲理,具有丰富的文化性和很高的艺术性。在英语教学过程中,教师积极正确地引入英语习语,可以在提高学生的表达能力、培养学生学习兴趣等方面起到事半功倍的效果。
English idioms are fixed word combinations with special meaning, which are extracted through a long period of use. Brief, humorous and rich in philosophy, idioms are loaded with rich culture and high artistry. In teaching teachers should introduce idioms in a proper way to improve students' communicative competence and interest in learning.
