The years from 1980s to 1990s of the last century witnessed a crazy writings of prose poems,and Wang Debao is undoubtedly one of the outstanding writers. His writing content is seemingly characterized by the aesthetic description of his relatives, his homeland, and his past chores, but actually is his intellectual grasp of and attentive watch on his existing circumstances. In the writings of prose poems, the poet adhered to the national tradi- tion and made innovation of creative skills, which makes his prose creation rich in ethinic and individual tastes.
