在科学发展观的背景下理解“以人为本”

On "People-oriented" Thought from the Perspective of the Scientific Concept of Development

"以人为本"思想作为科学发展观的核心,标志着我党在"人"这个问题上已经有了更为明确、更为清晰、更为合理的认识。"以人为本"思想与传统的"民本观"和西方近代人本主义都有所不同,在科学发展观的背景下理解"以人为本"思想,要把握人既是发展的手段,也是发展的目的,才能更准确地理解科学发展观的内涵,才能彰显我党"以人为本"的发展理念。

The ＂people - oriented＂ thought, the core of the scientific concept of development, indicates that the Communist Party of China （CPC） has a more explicit, more clear and more rational understanding of ＂people＂. ＂People -oriented＂ thought is different from the traditional understanding of ＂ People＂,＂ and the modem humanism in the western countries. To understand the ＂people - oriented＂ thought in the context of the scientific concept of development, we should grasp the idea that development is by the people and for the people. Only in this way can we understand accurately the connotations of the scientific concept of development and the ＂people - oriented＂ thought of CPC.
