摘要
王尔德的童话集《快乐王子》中表现出对世界和人生的悲观态度既跟当时的社会现实有关,同时也受到王尔德自身经历以及西方传统悲剧思想的影响。这种悲观色彩具有因悲而美的唯美主义特质,在对黑暗现实拷问的同时,也显露出作者意图超越现实的审美理想。
In his fairy tale collection The Happy Prince, Oscar Wilde put a pessimistic attitude to the world and life. His pes- simism was caused by his cotemporary society and his own experience as well as the tradition in western tragedy. The pessimism well expressed the characteristics of Aestheticism which held the view that pessimism gave birth to beauty. In his works, Wilde expressed his aesthetic aspiration, namely, to surpass the reality, while he criticized the dark reality.
