摘要
余华先锋派短篇小说的代表作《十八岁出门远行》中,"重复"构成了小说语言"突出的模型"。余华通过用词的重复和句式的重复,营造碎片感,突出感觉化,强调象征意象,并制造语言节奏,从而达到"仿梦"效果。从文学文体学出发分析译作对原文重复的处理,指出准确把握原作重复意义并在译作中再现"重复"的必要性,并提出改进意见。
On the Way at Eighteen is one of Yu Hua＇s avant-garde short stories, which brought him great fame. In the story the author makes full use of word and phrasing repetition to create an atmosphere of dream through creating fragment feeling, outstanding the feeling, emphasizing symbolic meaning and making language rhythm. The paper analyzes how the translator translated those repetitions into English, pointing out that it is important to retain and reproduce repetitions in the translation. The paper also tries to give better translations to examples in the paper.
