A Review of the Contrastive Studies between English and Chinese over the Past Ten Years(1999-2008)

通过对近十年(1999-2008)发表于我国国内学术期刊上的英汉对比研究方面的论文进行统计、分析可以看出,国内英汉对比研究在过去的十年得到了进一步的发展。然而,这一领域在发展过程中也暴露出了一些问题,主要体现在研究成果的质量和研究人员知识结构等方面。因此,要保证英汉对比研究持续、健康发展,还需要研究者付出更多的努力。

An analysis of the papers concerning the contrastive studies between English and Chinese published in Chinese academic joumals reveals that great progress has been achieved in this field during the past 10 years. The progress is chiefly manifested in the broadening and deepening of the research items. However, it is also self-evident that such problems as redundant studies and the inadequacy of the researchers still exist. Therefore, greater efforts are to be made by the researchers in order to make further progress.
