Intensifying theory, as one language teaching and learning theory, elaborates the regular intrinsic factor involved in the foreign language learning process and simultaneously it may make language teacher deepen his or her understanding about the essence of foreign language teaching and leaming. This essay is based on the theory and uses the theory to analyze the current situation of college English multimedia courseware, thus gives some suggestions and puts forward some strategies to strengthen its improvement of effectiveness.
