英汉双及物结构研究中的几个问题

Some Issues in the Study of English and Chinese Ditransitive Construction

本文对近几年来英汉双及物结构研究中的几个观点(英汉语中存有与格,汉语中有左向传递的双宾,英汉语双及物结构中有GP范畴)提出疑问。文章根据世界著名英语语法学家的观点、根据著名英汉语法学家的观点、根据乔氏句法理论的基本观点证明,英汉语中不存在与格,汉语中没有左向传递的双宾结构,英汉语双及物结构中不需要也不应该有GP范畴。

On the basis of discussions by some well-known grammarians and Chomskyan syntacticians, the paper questions the views in the study of English and Chinese ditransitive construction that there are dative constructions in English and Chinese, there is a directionality of left transferring in Chinese ditransitive construction and there is a category GP in English and Chinese ditransitive constructions. The paper tries to prove that in those constructions there is no dative, no directionality of left transferring or category GP.
