摘要
介绍一种基于TMS320DM642嵌入式的可用于电子警察、停车场、收费站等需要进行车牌识别场合的车牌识别系统的结构、硬件设计及软件设计。采用TMS320DM642进行图像采集,根据车牌的跳变特征提取车牌并使用改进的BP神经网络算法对车牌字符进行识别。系统运行稳定、可靠,识别率高。
This paper presents an embedded vehicle license plate recognition system based on the TMS320DM642,which is used to meet the need of license plate recognize arrangements,such as electronic police,car parks,toll booths etc,and also de- scribes the hardware design and software design of the system.Capture the picture through TMS320DM642,Location the li- cense plate according to the jump character,and then use the BP network recognize the number of license plate.The system is steady and reliable,it also have a high recognition rate.
