This paper describes the current status of Hong Kong rehabilitation medicine,including the nature of rehabilitation in public hospitals,settings and levels of rehabilitation and recovery processes,the constitution of hospital rehabilitation faculty and their roles and duties,the rehabilitation department settings,the operation of the rehabilitation at all levels of hospitals in Hong Kong,the management and assessment practitioners. The paper also mentioned the similarities and differences between Hong Kong and mainland rehabilitation and describes the inspiration on the development of Sichuan Rehabilitation Medicine.
