外商直接投资对长三角地区环境质量影响的实证分析

An Analysis of the Impact of FDI on the Environmental Quality in Yangtze Delta Area

借助外商直接投资(Foreign Direct Investment,FDI)与环境关系的理论,运用面板数据经济计量分析技术,就长三角地区外商直接投资对环境污染的影响问题进行了实证分析与检验。研究结果表明:通过引进先进的治污技术和设备,在一定程度上降低了长三角地区的污染程度,但由于引资的质量和结构存在问题,使整个地区的环境负荷进一步加重;收入水平仍然处于EKC的左侧,尚未越过其顶点,意味着长三角地区的环境污染程度可能仍将会随着收入水平的提高而继续恶化。

Based on the theory concerning the correlation between FDI and environment, this paper empirically analyzes and tests the impact of FDI on the environmental pollution in Yangtze Delta Area through econometric panel data analysis. The result shows that by introducing advanced technique and equipments its pollution can be reduced to a certain extent in Yangtze Delta Area, but the problems in quality and structure of FDI aggravate the load of environment in this area; since the income level is still on the left of Environmental Kuznets Curve （EKC） and has not exceeded the critical point, local environmental pollution will get worse along with the income increasing.
