VEGF和bFGF与血管生成及胃癌的关系

The Relationship of VEGF,bFGF and Angiogenesis with Progression of Gastric Carcinoma

应用免疫组织化学方法检测56例人胃癌组织中血管内皮细胞生长因子(VEGF)、碱性成纤维细胞生长因子(bFGF)和微血管密度(MVD)表达,分析 VEGF、bFGF 与 MVD,及其与胃癌各临床病理指标和预后间关系。发现:VEGF 或 bFGF 阳性表达者 MVD 值显著高于阴性者:VEGF、bFGF 和 MVD 与胃癌浸润深度、淋巴结转移和远处转移有关:VEGF 或 bFGF 表达阳性或 MVD≥43的胃癌患者5年生存率较低。表明:血管生成对胃癌的发展有一定作用,VEGF 和 bFGF 可促进胃癌的血管生成及胃癌的生长和浸润转移。MVD、VEGF 和 bFGF 表达可作为反映胃癌生物学行为的重要指标。

To investigate the relationship of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF),basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and angiogenesis with progression of gastric carcinoma (GC),the expression of VEGF,bFGF and microvessel density (MVD) in GC tissue was determined by immumohistochemical method in 56 cases.VEGF and bFGF expression was analyzed with MVD.The expression of VEGF,bFGF and MVD was also analysed with various clinicopathological features and relapsing rate of GC.The results demonstrated that:MVD was significantly higher in VEGF or bFGF -positive GC than in negative GC.VEGF,bFGF positive and MVD were correlated with depth of invasion,lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis of GC;The 5-year survival rate was significantly lower in patients of GC with positive expression of VEGF or bFGF or with MVD≥43. These data indicated that angiogenesis is important in the progression of GC.VEGF and bFGF promote not only the angiogenesis of GC,but also the growth,invasion and metastasis of GC.The expression of VEGF,bFGF and MVD are important prognostic indicators for patients with GC.
