Benzofuro[3,2-d] pyrimidine derivatives are of great importance in the syntheses of pharmaceuticals such as antibiosis, antiinflammatory, anticancer, inhibitors of platelet aggregation and enhancers of long-term memory. The preparation methods and the future of the title compounds were reviewed.
