模因理论强调文化和生物进化相似,将文化看成是可以进化的一个系统。模因是文化传播或模仿的单位。一个简单的模因,往往包含丰富的社会文化信息。文章用文化模因观分析和探讨了跨文化交际中,模因如何经过复制和模仿消除语言类文化空缺,通过模仿和创新缓和交际类文化空缺以及整合语篇文化空缺。

Memetics emphasizes the similarity between culture and organic evolution, and regards culture as an evolving system. Meme is the unit of culture transmission or imitation. A simple meme can involve lots of social and cultural messages. This paper adopts cultural memetics to analyze and discuss how meme eliminates linguistic-cultural vacancy through imitation and copy, reduces the communicative cultural vacancy through imitation and creativity, and combines the discourse cultural vacancy.
