In order to analyze the relations between the driver＇ s human factors and the accident hazard, the statistical indicators of regional road traffic accidents, including death number, casualties, and direct economic losses etc. , are utilized as the referential sequences; the statistical number of road accidents caused by vehicle driver＇ s human factors is taken as the comparison sequence; and then the grey relation model between the vehicle driver＇s human factors and the accident hazard can be established. And combination with the ease studies, the human factor of vehicle driver＇s influence on the extent of accident hazard caused by different types of road traffic can be identified and evaluated, which is based on quantitative a- nalysis on gray relational matrix. The results can provide references for the corresponding departments to take more effective safety management and prevention measures.
