建筑研究要摆脱已有意识形态的影响,要认识到建筑理论研究不可能具有像数学和物理学那样的普适和绝对理论,只可能有客观和主观双向互动的以及针对具体状况下的分析概念。要建立既是中国的也是现代的建筑研究,应强调中国长期以来在认识论上形成的紧密联系经验与概念的传统。从中国建筑的实践历史中提炼分析概念,走经验与理论结合之路,发扬实践历史传统,摆脱西方中心论的影响,建立既是中国的也是现代的建筑理论研究。

In the study of architecture, there have to be less intersection with existing ideologies, and less universal value and opinions. The concept analysis for the specific conditions and the interactions with subjects and objects is needed in the architectural research. In order to establish Chinese modern architectural research, the traditions of the connections with the living experience and the abstract concept in the Chinese historical culture have to be emphasized again, reducing the affects of westernoriented theory.
