By the analysis of the new trend of regional architectural practice, this paper points out the practice transforms from the symbolization of mark to formal abstraction, from the ornament expression to the materials expression, from modern techniques to primitive techniques, and from simple analysis to multidimensional quantitative determination, etc. It gives a further consideration on the positive significance of the transformation and its limitation.
