贵州是一个多民族的内陆山区省份,少数民族人口占全省总人口的41.27%。改革开放以来,全省民族地区经济社会发展取得了显著成效,但由于基础薄弱,民族地区经济社会发展落后问题仍然突出。贵州省少数民族地区要全面建设小康社会,实现经济社会发展历史性跨越,一定离不开国家的大力支持。

Guizhou is a landlocked multinational mountain province. The ethnic minorities in the province accounts for 41.27% of the whole population. Since the reform and opening - up, the economy and social development has got a marked effect. But its backward economic base limits its development. Problems still exist. So the eountry~ strong support is a necessary guarantee for Guizhou to build a moderately well - off society and realize a historic leap in its economic and social development.
