In the 21st century, the requirement of talent quality is increasing and the higher vocational graduates are facing a more and more severe employment situation. It urges the graduates to make a career planning as soon as possible in this sutuation. This article, in order to help the graduates make a scientific career planning, expounds the connotations, rules and principles of a career planning, analyzes some problems existed in the planning, makes the planning steps clear and mentions some matters which need to be paid attention in the career planning.
