摘要
拓扑分析法可以快速显示场的全局结构,在侧重于考虑场的特殊结构时显示出了较大的优越性。但是将该方法应用在复杂而信息丰富的流场中时,可视化的结果可能是成簇的、混乱的,这就需要进行多级拓扑来对拓扑图像进行简化。本文提出了一种称为"对距离过滤"的方法来进行拓扑简化,并将该方法应用于海洋流场,同时对不同级别的拓扑可视化结果进行了比较。实验表明:该方法可以快速的可视化流场的主要特征而不显得混乱,有利于保持复杂流场的全局信息。
Topology analysis method can show quickly the overall structure of vector field,and it shows a greater superiority in focusing on the special structure of the field.However,when the technique is used in complex and information-rich data sets,the result will be a cluttered image.Multi-level topology is required to simplify the topology image.This paper presents a technique known as 'pair distance filtering' to simplify the topology image,and applies the technique to ocean flow field.The result of different level-topology visualization is compared.The experiments reveal that the multi-level topology visualization can show quickly the main feature of flow field without excessive cluttering while maintaining the global structure of the flow field.
