一种基于小波变换的煤矿监控图像增强方法

随着科学技术的发展,煤矿工业电视监控系统在各大煤矿得到了广泛的应用。然而矿井下粉尘多、光照差的特殊环境往往使得监控图像偏暗、对比度低,视觉效果差。正是针对煤矿监控图像的这一特点提出了一种基于小波变换的图像增强方法,并用MATLAB7.0软件进行了仿真实验。结果表明,该方法能显著增强图像亮度及对比度,满足煤矿监控系统的要求。

With the development of science and technology, industrial TV＇s monitoring system has been widely used in the major coat mines. However, the final monitoring images are usually in low contrast and brightness because of too much coal dust and poor light in underground mine. A new enhancement method based on wavelet transform is designed and simulation experiments are made with MATLAB7.0 in this paper. The results show that the method can significantly enhance the image contrast and brightness, which makes the image visual effect better and meets the requirements of industrial TV＇s monitoring system.
