摘要
被动句是英汉语中常见的语言结构。对比英汉两种语言中的被动句在具体运用上的差异,英语多使用结构被动句,而且被动语态使用的范围比汉语要广;而汉语多使用以词汇手段表示的被动句和意义被动句,其句式丰富多样。并以实例阐述了英汉翻译中被动句的翻译策略。
Passive voice is a common language structure in English and Chinese. Contrastive study of English and Chinese passive expressions and their usage shows that syntactic passive is more widely used in English than in Chinese and that more sentences are used by means of words or expressions to express passive meaning and notional passive with various sentence patterns. The thesis on basis of contrast deals with the strategies of translating English passive into Chinese passive with examples.
