语篇连贯的图式理论视角

An Analysis of Discourse Coherence from the Perspective of Schema Theory

以认知图式理论研究语篇连贯,顺应语言的认知方法。图式主要有三种不同类型:内容图式、形式图式和语言图式。不同类型的图式在语篇理解中发挥不同的作用。图式在语篇连贯方面不仅发挥着重要的功能,同时也为语篇理解设置了很多障碍。对图式在语篇理解中扮演角色的正反两反面论述可以丰富语篇连贯的研究视野。

Discourse coherence is an important aspect of discourse analysis. Researchers have proposed various theories on it from the different perspectives. As the recent decades have seen a rapid growth of cognitive science, it has become more and more prevailing practice to interpret discourse coherence from the perspective of cognitive theory. Under the influence of the trend, coherence is studied from the aspect of cognitive schema theo- ry. There are three main kinds of schemata： content schema, formal schema and language schema, which play different roles in discourse understanding. Meanwhile schema not only plays the positive roles but the negative roles in discourse coherence. So functions and interferences of sch＇ema are discussed in order to enrich the study of this field.
