论胡适的教育平等观

摘要 胡适的教育平等观来源于中国传统教育思想的平等因素,同时也受到西方实用主义教育理念的影响。胡适主张接受教育权利的平等,在教育问题上男女平等,推行义务教育,用考试方法公平地选拔毕业生,主张在教员的聘请上不拘一格,推崇平民教育。胡适教育平等观的影响相当深远。当然,胡适的教育平等观也有局限,他过分夸大了教育的作用,以教育为工具来推行他改良主义的政治主张是无法实现的。 Coming from the traditional Chinese thinking, tinted by the western education theory guided by ucation should be equal and was an advocator of pulsory Hu Shi's idea of education equality was also pragmatic philosophy. He maintained that the right to edcivilian education since he stood for sexual equality, comeducation, talent selection by examination and teacher employment following no fixed pattern. However, his idea also had many limitations such as his overstatement of the function of education by using it as a tool to realize his reformism.
