摘要
对二语写作的准确性在多大程度上可被测量,哪几种变量组合解释的方差最大,何种可测变量能直接影响作文成绩几个问题进行研究。使用的语料来自随机抽取的南京大学英语专业四个年级320名学生的240篇限时作文。对二语写作准确性可测变量进行因子分析结果表明:二语写作的准确性是可测的,同时获得了由12个变量组成的三个因子,这些因子累计解释的方差达到了71.359%。
This paper attempts to address the following research questions: is it possible to measure accuracy in second language writing; if possible, which variable combination can best explain the total variance? And what variables can directly affect second language writing scores? The corpus used for the study was 240 compositions randomly selected from timed compositions written by 320 students across four grades. The results of factor analysis show that accuracy in second language writing is measurable, and three factors composed of 12 variables are obtained, which can account for 71.359% of the total variance.
