Abstract A new hydro-cylinder was introduced, which integrates all functions of dump truck hydraulic system. This alternatives addressed the problem of arrangement and maintenance of hydraulic components, and the pollution problem of hydraulic oil was solved at the same time. The structure and operational principle of integrated functional power-operated hydraulic-cylinder has some reference value to the design of the hydraulic system.
