"全人教育"倡导的是,教育应当培养完整的人,使人在身体、知识、技能、道德、智力、精神、灵魂、创造性等多方面都得到发展,成为具有独立人格和独立意识的人。随着我国高等教育改革的不断深入,以及全面素质教育的人才培养模式愈来愈完善,大学图书馆必然在完善服务的基础上,凸显其在"全人教育"中的教育地位,成为"全人教育"的主课堂。在此过程中,高校图书馆的宣传工作在大学生"全人教育"方面发挥着至关重要的作用。

Whole- man education means that education should cultivate complete people, who has good development in body, knowledge, skill, moral, intelligence, spirit, soul and creativity, etc, and has independent personality and independent sense. With unceasing deepening of China higher education reform and perfection of quality education talents training mode, university libraries would inevitably show its important place and become main classroom in the field of whole - man education on the basis of improving service. University libraries＇ propagation will play important role in undergraduate whole -man education at same time.
