明朝崇祯辛未(1631)进士科是造成吴伟业仕清后负思愧悔心态的重要因素。他的诗歌与戏曲等雅俗文学创作由此形成了一条重要的发展线索——负恩愧悔的思想情感和沉郁苍凉的美学风格。

The experience of the imperial examination in the year 1671 was an important factor caused Weiye＇ s feeling of guilty for betraying after he took a position in office of the Qing Dynasty. Consequently, there is an important developing clue in his literature creation of poems and popular genres such as drama ： a deep feeling of guilty and regret and an esthetic style of gloomy and desolate.
