我国机动车辆保险市场需求因素实证分析——基于弹性理论及需求理论视角

摘要 机动车辆保险作为财产保险中的龙头险种,对于财产保险业的发展意义重大。对于机动车辆保险需求因素的传统研究多侧重于理论分析,对于实证分析涉及较少,有鉴于此,本文从市场需求因素的视角出发,利用经济学中的需求理论、弹性理论,结合1992年到2006年的相关数据建立机动车辆保险的常弹性需求模型,实证分析了消费者收入水平、机动车辆保险价格等宏微观因素对市场需求的影响。结果表明,机动车辆保险需求的价格弹性e1=1.88,需求的收入弹性e2=2.17,而需求的交叉价格弹性是不显著的。据此,保险公司可以通过制定适当的价格战略、改变消费者偏好、优化服务质量等措施提高产品的竞争力,从而适应经济形势的发展变化,促进机动车辆保险市场的优化发展。 As one of the most important types of Property Insurance, Automobile Insurance is significant for the development of Property Insurance. Most previous papers in Demand factors of Automobile Insurance focused on theory analysis, while this paper pays more attention to empirical analysis. Since Automobile Insurance market in China at present is the Buyer' s market, according to the data of 1992 to 2006 and economic theories of Demand and Elasticity, this paper based on Demand factors of market, set up a Constant - elasticity Demand model to analyze the effect to the demand of Automobile Insurance by Consumer income level and the price of the Automobile Insurance and so on. As a result, the Price elasticity of demand e1 is equal to 1.88, the Income elasticity of demand e2 is equal to 2. 17 and the Cross -price elasticity of demand is not significant, so the Insurance companies should make appropriate price strategies, change the Consumer preferences and provide good services to enhance the competitiveness of their products, thus to adapt to changes in the economic development of the situation and promote the development of the Automobile Insurance market.
